The trademark design for the Yellowknife Golf Club (yellowknifegolf.ca) is a crow with a golf ball in its beak as crows are known to steal golf balls from the course, and an accumulation of these balls can be found on the roofs of higher downtown buildings.
Another interesting fact about this northern golf course is the it is grassless. Golfers carry around a square of artificial grass carpet that they place under their tees when moving forward on the sandy course. An experience like none other!
